Each year a hockey tournament is held with offices from across Canada participating. Canadian Base Operators Inc., a corporation headquartered in Collingwood and a member of the Black & McDonald Group, were responsible for hosting the 2013 tournament. Each year charities are selected, and the participants make contributions through auctions, 50-50 draws, and more. The funds raised are then matched by Black & McDonald. This year the General & Marine Hospital Foundation was one of two charities that were fortunate to receive $9,000.00.

Canadian Base Operators staff Wanda Raycraft and Peter Spoor presented a cheque for $9,000 to Ernie Purkis, Vice Chair of G&M Hospital Foundation.

Black & McDonald and their employees care about the communities in which they live and work. We wish to thank Canadian Base Operators and their employees for organizing this year’s tournament which resulted in a significant contribution to the New Age of Care.

Black & McDonald Limited is a private, Canadian third generation family-owned corporation with offices throughout Canada and the United States.
